Hold Fast to Hope 2026 – His Name is Jesus

It is time to retreat and draw closer to our Savior! The written Word of God, introduces us to the person of Jesus. The deeper your knowledge of who Jesus is, the greater your trust and confidence in Him becomes. God’s Word is an invitation to come to Him and behold His character, His promises, and His power. He poured love, mercy, and grace out as an offering for us. His is the only name that deserves absolute devotion, commands complete authority, and covers every flaw within us.

Biblically, a retreat is an intentional withdrawal to a quiet place to step away from the demands of the world, commune with God, and be spiritually renewed. Jesus used retreats to maintain His closeness with His Father. He stepped away into the wilderness for 40days to fast, pray, and overcome temptation, equipping Himself for His mission. He frequently slipped away while it was still dark to a solitary place to pray and align His will with the Father’s. (Mark 1:35)
